From First Call to Installation in Just 5 Weeks

We recently had the opportunity to assist a customer who was looking for a reliable solar and battery solution but was finding the process confusing and frustrating due to the large number of installers providing quotes without conducting proper site assessments.

Like many homeowners researching solar, the customer initially received several quotes that were prepared purely as desktop estimates without any installer visiting the property to check the actual roof layout, electrical infrastructure, or installation constraints.

When the customer contacted our team, we responded to the enquiry promptly and discussed the customer’s requirements in detail. Understanding the importance of accurate system design, we arranged a physical on-site inspection rather than relying solely on satellite imagery or remote assessments.

During this inspection, we assessed the roof layout, installation constraints, electrical infrastructure, and overall system design requirements to ensure the recommended system would perform efficiently and comply with all installation standards.

Following the site visit and further discussions with the customer, we proposed the following system configuration:

System Installed:

  • 13.2 kW LONGi Solar Panel System
  • 10 kW Sungrow Hybrid Inverter
  • 16 kWh Sungrow Battery

Location: Terry Cres, Mandurah

At the time of the project, many installers in the market were quoting installation timeframes stretching well into late 2026. However, our team worked efficiently to move the project through the approval and financing stages.

Throughout the process, we maintained clear and consistent communication, assisting the customer with documentation and approvals through Plenti financing while ensuring all system requirements were properly coordinated.

Shortly after approvals were finalised, we were able to offer the customer an earlier installation opportunity due to a scheduling availability, allowing the installation to proceed much sooner than originally expected.

On the day of installation, our installation team arrived early in the morning and worked efficiently to complete the system installation. By afternoon, the solar panels, hybrid inverter, and battery storage system were fully installed and commissioned.

Particular attention was given to Western Power compliance requirements, system testing, and final safety checks to ensure the installation met all regulatory standards and was operating exactly as designed.

From the customer’s first phone call to a fully installed and operational system, the entire process was completed in just five weeks.

The customer later shared that the detailed site inspection, transparent communication, and efficient installation process gave them confidence that they had chosen the right team.

The system is now fully operational and ready to support the household with clean energy generation, battery storage, and reduced grid reliance.

Update: The customer has now contacted us to install a Sungrow EV charger as he is getting his brand new EV car in a few weeks. It is great to see when customers return to purchase additional products.
